Laquita Brooks is a real estate investor, motivational speaker and coach who aims to transform lives across the nation by offering simple and direct solutions to some of life’s most challenging problems. Brooks is deeply passionate about investing in real estate. She spends most of her time purchasing distressed properties, from Detroit to New Orleans, while coaching others on how to fix and flip houses. She believes motivation is the driving force behind everything that she does hence why many call her, The Motivational Maven.

Brooks was born and raised in Louisiana with a Christian background. She has a great zeal for life, is down to earth and humorous. These qualities that Brooks has possessed all her life has helped her to compel her audience to be passionate about becoming their best selves. Growing up Laquita experienced colorism, this took a toll on her confidence as a young woman but, it also drove her desire to change her mindset and environment to rebuild the confidence she’d lost as a young girl. From this journey The Motivational Maven was born. From a teen mom to becoming a successful serial entrepreneur, investor, coach and business owner. Brooks has pioneered the field of motivating, inspiring and educating people to take their careers - and themselves - to unprecedented levels.

The Motivational Maven is a series of development courses meant to aid students in researching, finding and flipping their first home.
